ABOUT THIS PROGRAMME

Endings can be challenging in all walks of life. In organisations, the imminent departure of a key executive can often be disruptive to staff morale, creating a sense of loss, fear of the unknown, and insecurity.

Legacy coaching is a progamme that is designed to help individuals reflect on their professional experiences, values and goals and make sure these have been shared appropriately with their successors.

It encourages the person who is departing to create a lasting impact not only for their own sense of fulfilment but for the benefit of the leader taking their place and the organisation as a whole.

By identifying core values and strengths, we help make sure important historic and organisational knowledge is not lost when a leader departs, and that everyone is equipped for the handover and new chapter.

PROGRAMME OUTCOMES

The Leadership Legacy Coaching programme empowers the successive leader and the organisation as a whole by ensuring all key information is appropriately shared. It addresses the impact that the leader’s departure will have throughout the company ecosystem and provides practical solutions to manage the changeover. 

PROGRAMME FORMAT

After a successor has been chosen, this programme begins in ‘the space in between’ – or the defined period before the departure of the leader and the ‘passing of the baton’ to the new one.

We typically provide programmes of six to eight coaching sessions which can be conducted either virtually or face-to-face.
